Edwin “Lynn” Lovelady is Vice President of Information Technology at Energen. He began his career at Energen in 1999 and was named to his present position in 2011. Prior to working at Energen, Lynn worked for twelve years with the Department of Defense supporting logistics and engineering applications. Lynn is a native of Anniston, Alabama and attended Jacksonville State University where he received his bachelor’s of science in information technology systems. Lynn is a member of the Samford University Chief Information Officer Roundtable and the University of Alabama Management Information Systems Forum. He is currently serving on the board of the Jacksonville State University Annual Fund and serves as an advisory board member for TechBridge, a non-profit IT company whose purpose is to assist other non-profits with their technology challenges. Lynn was a founding board member of the North Shelby Youth Basketball Association, a past board member of Oak Mountain Youth Baseball & Softball and past Alabama Chapter board member of the Arthritis Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society. Lynn and his wife Beverly live in Birmingham and have two children. Lynn enjoys tennis in his spare time.
